About MyFly

MyFLY is a youth organization created by students, for students. Our goal is to educate elementary to high school-aged students about the many aspects of the finance industry.

With over 30 executive members around the world, we hope to use our resources for spreading awareness and knowledge about financial literacy. We believe in transparency, so our most recent goals are stated below.

These are the facts.

The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada surveyed that “nearly 6 out of 10 Canadian adults (59.6 per cent)” do not have a good idea of how much money they need to save in order to maintain their desired standard of living in retirement.

Although financial literacy is so crucial in adult life,
awareness about it is minimal.

Financial literacy principles and techniques are not taught in most regular school curriculums, outside of classes specifically regarding them.

Career-spanning effects

Lack of financial literacy can have significant effects on someone’s working life. Without proper awareness of how to manage money, retirement ages can be extended.

Lack of confidence

Finance can often seem to be an obscure or complex topic, and this is partially because of the lack of awareness surrounding it. This can discourage anyone from taking the first steps toward learning it.

Being used in over 50+ countries, Redd is one of the oldest and most established cryptocurrency projects in the space. Created in early 2014, it was known as "Reddcoin." Over the past six years, the project has gone through several evolutions of its network and technology. Many people are unaware that Redd is a 100% volunteer-based organization. This is a major achievement that shows not only the passion and belief everyone has in this project but also the goals we are trying to make a reality. Redd has received donations from the community in the past, and is now self-funded through the most recent POSV v2 network upgrade.
